Has it happened?
Have I actually found a college candidate?

All I had to do was ask. I owe so much to my former art teacher. She recommended me to Ryman Arts, now this?

For the past year or so, the stress of senior year has been prodding me harder and harder until the bruises have surfaced with one week left of my junior year. I read about an actress who is a graduating student from my high school, who seemed to have the next decade roughly sketched out: pursue acting for two years at a college, act and travel for a few years, then return to finish school, majoring in journalism. I have never felt that security, no matter how loosely planned her next few years seemed. I've always wanted to leave options options options, never realizing that the opportunities won't necessarily find me in time.

This summer, I will search them out.

spontaneity

This is what I want for the summer, and every summer after that; to be able to drive without a set destination, miss an exit, or end up some strange place where I can sit and enjoy donuts.

And capture the moment.

Of course all of this requires vehicular transportation and a license to navigate it. I'm getting there.
My turns are still a bit too sharp, I tend to hug the right side of the lane too often, and my timing is nearly too late-but I park like no other.
